...easily. Work life balance. Onsite opportunity is there if you get right project. Salary hike and promotion is slight drawback. I recommend for women above 35 to shift here after you reached a good salary in other companies and settle here. Other cons is no rehiring .

Good work environment and culture. I personally like the job security of the organisation it has purely impressed and for freshers tcs is giving a decent package and good amount of time.

Nothing to say, one project is good for me but in that too i have not got my promotion after serving in TCS for 12 years!!!!

...ics play critical role in every projects, grouping of religions,state wise,.....no satisfactory appraisal done at most projects! degrading(reducing) the employee salary compared with what he got in previous year , Bad company management....dont waste your life in TCS. No Job Security, No Salary Protection, No Promotion in Career, And also No Respect to employees from Team Leads,Project Managers, and HR....only few get satisfied in TCS but not majority of them....DONT WASTE LIFE IN TCS.....You cannot survive in life....

Except Job security TCS gives nothing. If you are not ambitious and just want a monthly salary without hike year by year, TCS is for you. Politics in every department is on PEAK. HR department is worst department ever saw. They keeps hiding and will not reply to your queries even for 4-5 if you have any question to clarify (specially regarding salary). Join on you own risk. Female oriented company. (review is specifically for NON IT departments)

If you are at the onset of your career TCS is indeed the best place to work in. We all know that when we start working, we are at a leaning phase. And we learn not just skills, but a lot more about juggling life, planning a career ahead and corporate skills. TCS gives ample scope for that learning, and is very forgiving to the mistakes we make. So I personally think beginning your career in TCS takes you a long way.

Salary is less compared to other companies, work life balance might take a toss if you don't speak up for yourself. Appraisals are pretty much same irrespective of what you do.
