...es are immense. Try working for the Indian partner firms and not the US offices. The growth there, will be better despite the lower pay. Work life balance in the ACs (US offices) are better Work life balance in the Indian partner firms is a lot worse and more client facing Pay in the US offices is far greater but stagnates as the growth opportunities are lower. The firm is also quite middle manager heavy, creating a sort of glass ceiling. The Indian firms tho a lot more demanding have benefits with added client exposure, more autonomy on decision making and your own running projects.

In the US partner firms, the US engagement team calls the shots and you’re an offshore resource. You do have a say in the decision making process and get to experience the end to end delivery but rarely will be running an entire project on your own. The above varies not just within the PwC teams but also within the individual client delivery teams. So your mileage may vary. Over all still a great place to learn and way above a lot of other firms from an Advisory point of view. Can’t say much about the Assurance, Audit or Managed Services teams.

For ESG business unit, the work culture, the pay or the skill development nothing is good. Managers know nothing amd try to squeeze everything out from the associates with 2 3 years of experience. They pay peanuts for lots of work. There is no work training given you just join and they just make you work and expect you to know everything.

Management...too much politics even if you are a senior associate managers will make a ruckus and put the blame on you to save themselves Pay is not that good compare to other big4 Work is also not that good they pretends they have the best tools but none of them works for what it is created and they will start creating another one with half or not working tools because of this they say you should not charge time as we have tools but all the work is done by human manually Culture which I have never seen in PWC. The team members don't even know each other. Working hours well you don't have any you work around the clock and sleep in between for 3-4 hours. Let's say that you had a deadline and you worked till 5-6 in the morning. The loving manager will want you to attend the 9:30 daily call even if you are asleep after doing the work he wanted and then get angry when you don't attend. That level petty people works here

Less than average salary. Favouritism in giving appraisals. Flattering is a must for promotion, need to be on toes for your partner/boss. Not much work life balance. No comp off or monetary compensation if you are working at client site on a lot of Saturdays No HR policies on this.
