1. No job security. 2. Project is based on your luck not on skill set. 3. During company policy change in 2024 in AC India, everthing has become narrow. 4. You have to take care your utilization.

There is nothing to like about, honestly.

.... At a time, Company has given only 5% hike for its 1st merit holders as well. There is myths that this big 4 firm provides very good salary increments and have great promotion policy, believe me that is not true. And at work level, you will asked to do bunch of pretty simple tasks so there is no in depth quality learnings as well. And as tasks are very much in numbers so you will end of extending every day to finish those work - I have seen people working around 12+ hours each day and its were very common for throughout years and in all projects - It's the nature of whole culture at here. Managers are total failure to fix the major obstacles at project level and they are afraid to raise it to higher level within pwc or at client level. On other side, they sometimes schedule meeting with colleagues working under them, and scolled and complaint about the pity issues, like why have ping there and here so that the issue not get highlighted on upper level. There is nothing good i found working for pwc and it's was very shocking for me as its a well known firm but it is also the fact that firm is primarily known for auditing and accounting and not for quality assurance and engineering so.. you will see the gap for sure. There are multiple other things i can write about my experience working for pwc but I have mentioned the major once.

It's a government job. Unless you're on bench, they won't do anything to you. And yes people did get laid off left, right and center so fingers crossed. Other than that it's hard to think of a reason to like this company honestly. There's so much that needs to change.

Dislikes

... incompetent. The lack of basic human interaction skills is very very visible. 6) No variable pay. You heard that right. Good luck on getting bonuses because I haven't received a penny as a bonus in the last 2 years despite working long hours and weekends. 7) The career growth here is disgustingly slow.

Likes

You get to work in good projects and different tech stack. Firm takes lot of initiatives to upskill and upgrade it's employee. All the projects are mostly development short term projects. In terms of exposure and learning PwC is a good organization.

Dislikes

Salary is less in terms of market standard. Work life balance is a bit bad but that's vary from project to project as well as if you have less members in your team and deadlines are stringent then work life balance might be impacted.
