It's a "middle class" company - people are kind and down to earth in general. Everyone is helpful. The culture used to be really good at Mindtree before the merger with LTI happened.

... - hiring practices are not good, general calibre of people is on the lower end. But for this salary, it's hard to get good candidates. - I joined in May 2022, and my salary increment has been 5% in the last ~ years (it is Feb 2025 now). Infact in 2023, I got 2% hike even though my annual review rating was 3 out of 4. In 2024, I got a rating of 4 on 4 and my salary increment was 2.5%. - They change the annual review cycle to whenever they want. We are seeing appraisal cycle of 15-16 months each because they say they haven't been performing. But that's not true - the CEO doesn't take a pay cut. His earnings keep increasing while we don't get a hike. - They have way too many people on the bench but the company is also losing projects and accounts left right and centre to other competitors in the market. - HR and the Workforce Management team don't really care about you - they only focus on enforcing policies. Meaning if you've been on the bench for more than 60 days, they will call you and ask you to resign. - On projects, I've had to be online and support the US team at midnight/1-2 am even though I'm technically on a day time 9-6 shift. We don't get paid overtime and they just automatically expect us to work and be available at all times. - They ask you to come to office all 5 days if you're on the bench. And if you are non compliant, they deduct your leaves. That way when they ask you to resign, they don't have to compensate you for your leaves as part of the severance.

If you go on bench, hard to find out projects. People stick to their jobs, is it because no new projects coming in or people stick to their jobs, hard to guess

Dislikes

Hard to find projects, low pay compared to other mncs, no shift allowances for people working on profiles other than tele based profiles, after the merger it was supposed to be but never happened even working for us client, need to engage till 11-11:30

Very helpful team mates, you will definitely see politics at the higher level everywhere, salary is average, give very good balance in work life, get more opportunities to learn via online courses, you may have to travel even when you can't, I can't really commenton job security as the conditions are same throughout the industry.

Dislikes

The HR team or the helpdesk are less cooperative and will take more time to reply your queries. Sometime you will feel helpless. Overall they will not let you down but have to chase them frequently. Salary increments are low than standard.

-Salary is very low - hikes are usually 2-4% even if you put lots of efforts -nothing to learn , projects are on specific tools My personal experience was horrible even after resigning. I had to follow up for months to get my full and final

The company offers a competitive salary, high-quality trainings and direct client interactions. The office has great amenities like massage chairs and gyms, provides meal coupons. Some roles also include on-site work opportunities.

Dislikes

Revise appraisal process and hike percentages, offer only relevant trainings or courses that have a market value and are futureproof. Increase manager involvement and awareness in the process and train them to follow ethical practices. Respect employee's personal life, recognize extra efforts. Update the sick leave and bench policy, so they mare more sensible.
