Salary and promotion structure is very good, also the learning process very helpfull for growth. Hr policy also very helpful for the employee

And the work culture is terrible. I can't take leave for a couple of day. I was taking only two days leave for my father health. My manger harrased me a lot for this.why I am giving documents for my leave? I put the privilege leave still they harrased me for this leave. I was taking privilege leave but still he says to provide documents i am not taking sick leave i am taking privilege leave then why????? He harrased me a lott have a bitter experience. So after joining from only two days leave i submit my resignation. Enough is enough. Why i am doing in such a sector where i have no such comfort for taking only two days leave. Not only that branch manager don't know how to treat the employees in front of the customer.

Nothing as such. Too bad working culture no career growth and minimum opportunity. Low opportunity to new joiners

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address any issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. On the job training is not given to new joiners

I have spent more than 6 years in ICICI Retail Banking division in Kolkata area. In general, work pressure is very high, you need to spend more than 11-12 hours in the office, employees were even pressurized to come to office during COVID restrictions. I had to go to police station multiple times to collect written confirmation that I was not allowed to travel outside. Managers are only interested in sales, they usually set very high(unachievable) sales target to all employees. If you can't meet your target then you have to invest from your salary. There is no work-life balance in ICICI Bank & you can't avail your annual leaves. Please be careful, if you complain to HR against your managers, then they will transfer you to remote area or you may even get demoted by saying you couldn't perform as expected.

Leave policy is good and managers are friendly in most cases. Decent place for learning as a fresher.

Dislikes

Work life balance is not what you would want to have. Making you work twice on the salary of one person. In some cases, HR seems to be inexperienced and impractical as I have come across multiple cases where people with great education and experience are put in junior positions compared yo people with basic education and no experience.
