There are 2 programs in Hcl, in those you can get into Hcl after your 12th or after your graduation in which you pay them 3 or 1.5 lpa redpectively and they train you and then hire you at a package of 2.75 lpa.

Dislikes

No internal exams like Tcs digital, Infosys power programmer, Wipro Turbo to get into good tech projects and higher salary. Assignation to good Tech projects is random. And if you leave your project and get on bench then you will be forced to resign from the company if u don't manage to get into other project within one month.

Working Environment is Good, Depends on Project. Job Security is also Good, % days working, Salary get on Time.

Dislikes

...d on HCL internal project, So not much more scope as per learning perspective, Salary increment is not much, Poor increment.

...work-life balance. They have rolled out work from home since end of March 2020. There are no pay cuts as of now as the productivity has decreased a bit. Learnt a lot of corporate stuff here.

Dislikes

It really depends on how good reporting manager you get. They make your life easy or they can make it really hard. You might have to work on weekends, depending on the project deliverables. If you don't get a good manager there is a good chance that even after working hard they might give you an average rating in the annual appraisal. But that also depends on the profit the company is making from the project. Anyways for a person is focused on learning new things and widening there horizons of technology, I suggest you get an experience of atleast a year at HCL and then switch to some other MNC or a product based company.

Nothing as the people in company do fake promises. No promotions, No salary increment. Whatever you do is just waste of time. In almost all the projects I didn’t find any appreciation of ideas, solutions. They will implement it, clients likes it and benefits from it. But the management will say that the developers are doing nothing.

Dislikes

Everything from appraisals to career growth, compensation. Whatever compensation you take while joining. It will be same after so many years. So no motivation.

Likes

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. Company policies are also good. Great work-life balance with flexible timings.

Dislikes

Fewer learning opportunities and slow career growth. The salary and appraisals are very less, i have seen 2% increment for second top rating.
