They pay more but it all depends on project for which they're hiring. Salary is not a concern here. Good hikes. Work from home. No micro management. Management is always reachable. Lot of learning opportunities if you can work parallely with your current project.

Dislikes

Its like a consultancy when they hire laterals because its purely project basis. Once the project gets over after 6 months etc you have to work on any technology as they hired you giving more package that risk will always be there. Lot of work pressure at client side projects you will feel like giving up many times. Some leads are not enough skilled as they just hand over responsibility to them. HR team is not friendly and you may feel like you're from a different company. You might have to work 12 Hrs to survive here.

If you are in good project, only thing you will get is good exposure to tech and skills. The growth of salaries for individual from last 4 years is 7%. with 2 years 0% increment

Be ready to work with same salary for 4 years.

Salary without any variable pay and other benefits are good. You will find good clients and projects. Work culture is good. work life balance is good in most of the projects.

Dislikes

Once you get into some project then you need to be there for lifetime until you are out of Global Logic or unless project rampdown. Even if you are interested to learn other new techniques or bored of current routine work also you are not allowed to change the team or technology or project.

... good when i joined but again this is also one more service-based company only. Salary and appraisal are worse it's been more than 2 years and appraisal is on hold. Also not sure they will release or not and no regular updates on that topic.

Work life balance depends on the project in whichever company you work so i can't generalise it, overall salary benefits is good if you discuss it before joining the company only.

Dislikes

1. Doesn't gives appraisal, they can any time close the appraisal cycles without any reason. 2. In last 3 years only 1 time appraisal has happened. 3. Big talks less show. 4. Don't go by the name Hitachi linked to it's name, thay dont care much about Globallogic, there's nothing in common between Hitachi and Globallogic either cukture, growth, payscale. Just the normal top of the head policies. 5. Policies are not applicable to all by default, if you are falling under default appraisal cycle withing 6 months of your joining, there's a possibility you won't get that as it's all on your manager, HR are just for organising calls.
