1. Learning to work under pressure. 2. Learn to be systematic. 3. Learn how multinational organizations are operating.

Dislikes

1. Very low salary. 2. Countless hours of work. 3. No real knowledge is being shared. 4. No real room for growth as seniors want to protect their positions. 5. No clear critreria for promotions - most of the times the feedback is based on a personal opinion of the person that is competing with you! You can see the conflict of interest here..1 6. The truth about Big4 is that they are counting on high turnover of entry positions to keep their costs low, they are just selling you the dream of promotions or even double promotions to work your a.. off and maybe after 3 years delay they will give you one promotion.Of course isn't worth it nowhere near the hours you have put on and the stressful moments. 7. The last on I feel pitty for those that they are working so hard to take a 80 euros increase??! Can you believe that? Or even after 7 years of working at the Big4 companies having a 2,200 euros/month gross salary...It's sad..

Nothing.

... offer whatsoever. Redundant work with close to nothing in terms of improvement. Salary: Pays well. But not enough and nothing is enough to completely dismantle your work-life balance and your private life as well. Company culture: Worst. Plagued with internal politics and favouritism. Kolkata branch especially has deep-rooted nepotism so do make friends with the ones who have familiar connections with the top brass (If you're an unfortunate employee in the Kolkata branch). Job security: Officially EY doesn't believe in the hire-and-fire culture as communicated quite vocally by the HRs, but unofficially and as the truth is about them, if you get on the wrong footing with the seniors, they will make it a personal mission to see you're thrown out of the company. Promotions: Be on the good books of the nepo colleagues and they will have a good word for you with the higher management (their relatives) and viola! You have been promoted! Or, get on their bad books and see yourself getting thrown out the next year or so. Yes, work isn't a qualifying metric for promotions, sadly. Work satisfaction: If you are up for redundant work and looking for a place to exclusively retire yourself having done all the improvements and upskilling that you could in your entire career and finally said to yourself it's time to hang up the boots but still need a moderate source of income, then this is the right place for you to be and you'd be satisfied by how stagnant and redundant the work here is. A great and stable close-to-retirement work-life which competes with the likes of working at TCS.
