For talented pool the growth opportunity in terms of learning, promotions, visibility etc. Is amazing

Dislikes

Effort vs compensation is not at par and differentiation between high performing people and average is not very transparent. Mostly people who put papers are only rewarded .

Dislikes

EY GDS management is extremely poor and are not having a proper vision. Being a cost center don't have any strategy to have bench and also no clarity on project pipeline. Most of the time, lot of redundant processes have to be followed, to satisfy ego of internal competency leaders. Emerging Tech ED within DET didn't allow for movement from ET to another competency within EY GDS and asked people to leave. Promotion only happens to people in Trivandam location who are existing employees close to leadership. No appetite to encourage people to try out new things or accept new people joining different other locations.

Good Office Ambience. A paid cafeteria. Management don't care about well being of employee. They just treat you like robots 24*7 functional.They are bad pay masters unless you come through any referral that through partners. Managers are only good at being Manager.

...ss oriented. You will feel like you are just running the race without any goals. Bad payer in terms of salary hike. Not a competitive place to work.

Salary hike will go towards negligible amounts in years to come and the one who possesses great in-demand skills should be able to survive. It is with all global organizations and not just with EY.
