Although it's a project specific thing, but you can manage your work life balance in most of the projects for majority of the days. Company policies are mostly good from well being point of view.

...t. If you are a top tier MBA, Deloitte is definitely not a place for you now. 4. Salary is more than other Big4, but far less than other Tier A consulting firms. 5. Some of the P/D/ADs are very inefficient and slow in getting new client/project/doing regular job, and dependency on them is high. So many times you will get frustrated 6. Now there is nothing left in Deloitte to be proud of.

...fficult, burning mid night oil and weekend work is common and expected from all. Compensation is better when compared to normal IT companies but compared to the sacrifices required, the pay needs to be higher. But overall I can easily recommend the company to ambitious people looking for fast career growth.

Except for poor work life balance due to tight schedule for deliverables and weekend work, everything else is really good.

1.) Slowly turning into a pure offshore model with more of transition and backend roles 2.) Health insurance is subpar 3.) Fresh H1B visas are not getting applied

They pay better because attrition is high all the time, so much of PR that makes candidates feel like a fantastic company to work for.

Dislikes

Partners are the gods, every partner will do all their projects heavily dependent on 1 or 2 directors, so they become gods too, this company is famous for very poor work life balance so mostly behavioral issues found with these people, And if employees start talking about or escalating these issues the partners would shut the team members since they are too busy and not so much into team member health culture and majorly because they are heavily dependent on these 1 or 2 directors. All the managers used to say consulting world is like this you will get used to this. This is a very wrong attitude which the whole ladder encourages

Everything is very good, be it work culture, work life balance or stable life and most importantly the tag of working in a big company you get is great. Not a great place for super talented individual, your career growth would not be as per your expectation, it will if you are at a higher position but when you are working at a node, they wont value you much in terms of your capability, you will be just equal as other employees. Overall it is is a great company to work for and also depends on the team you work for.

Dislikes

I am very ambitious, but I got stuck in the heirarchy of an organisation. And also working for US and getting paid on Indian salary wont satisfy you much.
