Once u go on bench, higher management will not help to get you new project, and will ask to go on BOTP (Back on Track Plan) and later will force you to resign no matter how good you are on your skills. Which sometimes injustice to employees.

Capgemini is the best place to work for any employee. The company always stands with the employees and it has been proved during this Pandemic that started last year. Capgemini provided moral support and job security throughout the year. It's always our pleasure to work for a company like Capgemini.

Salary hike is less but that is not a problem as it provides job security.

Likes

Just remember you won't get increment once you join Capgemini. You will get 1-2 % increment every year. Management is very cool here. They care so much about the employee who is performing real well by giving 2-3% percent increment. Management will not leave non performing candidate even if he/she resigned, they will ask to serve entire 3 months notice period.

Dislikes

Don't expect increment. People who are not capable for the role are hired here with more salary but company will not give increment to the employee who is working really well.

Management was very transparent with their employees. they do alot of interaction on regular basis.

Dislikes

Compensation benefits are low as per market standards. Referral bonus is given to employee if he joins within 45 days. However their own notice period is 90 days. No Onsite opportunities in most of the projects

...never ends. Even if we do Certification there's no guarantee that we get a hike. Variable pay is not a guarantee too. Hike cycle is Jan -dec but hike n variable pay will be provided only at the end of financial year end. For the folks eligible for Variable pay that is from C1 onwards there will be a partial payout in the jan n final pay out at the end of financial year end. The eligibility for variable pay is we are not supposed to be serving notice period. Meaning even if we drop paper on March 31st then we are subjected to return our variable pay. If we have taken parental insurance then they ask to pay for the entire financial year as part of full & final settlement from the employee Only for 30 leaves will be paid as full & final settlement Managers are really bad they just care about your deliverables & nothing else. My project manager/program manager when asked about hike - shared me a customer care number to check what's the reason for not releasing my Hike ltter. When reached on that number they asked to connect with my manager for the reasonn😆 No good onshore opportunities No good flexibility in location inspite of their presence in multiple locations They just have values, policies jst for the sake of having it. In reality nothing is useful. Work culture in certain projects is pathetic - no weekends, no public holidays nothing
