Firstly i will say about the team As a dba if this your first job mostly you will work in L2 team and here you will many things but you will not get time to learn new things so after completing two years need to switch to l3 team or outside. Patching on non rac db with standby 6 Solved Performance issues faced by application team( query optimization, stats gathering index rebuilding long running queries Awr and ash report, run sql tuning advisory At last also raised sr with oracle support they have suggested to change or increase the value of db parameters like sga and pga etc 7 Guaranteed Restore point creation testing work for apps team and rollback by using this. 8 solve sync issues as rfs not working due to various reasons like fra full, standby file management manual , password file change standby down. 9 restoration of db with rman and active duplicate method 10 upgrade the db with traditional way 11 rman bkp configuration and schedule with crontab using rman catalog db 12 Job security is good. ...an average it takes 3 years for an external hire to get his/her first increment. Even exceptional (top) raters have to wait for ~3 years to get salary raise. -HR is highly irresponsible wrt communicating exclusion guidelines for salary raise/ promotions/ RnR. Every year new uninformed criteria’s are introduced. -No lucid career growth plan

...our. Leadership will give all fresher under lead and asked to get the work done.no salary hike from last 2 year. Only boot leaker get promotion though there is some compliance issue.

I made a big mistake by resigning from my past organization, I was getting a manager role, so I moved here. CG have old culture, like savings means remove people. Senior managers will ask I need automation, but they don't know meaning of Automation. When my team perform automation, instead of appraising it, they will say, now workload is reduced, remove a senior person and hire a fresher in place of him. In past 3 appraisal I was performer and after that received 2% hike overall. Now I will resign, no matters I have job or not.

...pense from 1000 to 500. so 6K per year reduced. so overall loss of 42K per year. also they have variable pay of 10% of your salary. Now in year end, they have given few fellows as 12K hike, so even a duffer can understand that his take home is reduced by 30K. also if you are average performer then they have reduced 12% of variable. so overall, from last year you will lose 50K by default. so before you join this trap, resign ASAP.
