If you can forget the culture of the company it gives you opportunity to learn at very fast pace compared to big giants. This company is best for freshers who join directly from IIT/NIT. The reason I say that you will have all the facility/infra like canteen, recreational center and hostel. You can use these facility for two years and focus on competitive exams as in company no one cares what GTE's do for one or two years.

...re is pathetic, boss is always right is the ideology. Open politics and biasing. The variable pay is 15-20% of the base pay and you never get the variable pay irrespective of profit that company makes. There are no goals set and at the end of review (well there is no goal setting or performance review system here, you get to know your rating when the salary is credited in account) it's the image you have in your bosses head what gets you good or bad rating. If you are a person who can keep your boss happy irrespective of how it affects the company then this is the company for you. No one trusts anyone even in the same team. HR has to do nothing with what goes on with employees, they are only bothered about how to cut salaries of employees and add that to company profit.

In R&D work life balance is good and other facilities are also satisfactory only for R&D professionals.

Dislikes

For Diploma professionals this industry is not good because they are not giving enough salary and promotion as well.

Work satisfaction, learning skills. And it is the best organisation people who work in L3 and Above.

Dislikes

... at the bottom level ultimately manager takes the whole recognition done by you. No benefits, and less salary is given for L4 and L5 and no salary hike or promotion for the employees who work for 20-25 years he will be in L4 only. At the time of resigning or while leaving the company HR will not bother or ask any questions why are you leaving the organisation. Poor HR Policies.

Compensation is good. Facilities in R&D is good like gym, library, Indoor badminton court. All the testing facilities are available in house only. Scope of learning is decent.

Dislikes

Organisation structure is not proper specially in R&D that too for their Chetak Technology Team. Lots of man power constraint in EV team can be seen. There is no transperancy within R&D group. For Chetak group lots of things related to system are not followed. Less holidays are given. Flexi hours are for name sake it all depends on your manager.
