Training culture is good. Predefined path for technical progression. If you want to keep learning then plenty of opportunities.

Dislikes

You need to join here at good package as a base. Once you entered yearly hike is not up to industry standard. If you go onsite then your Indian salary revised only in lower single digit so if you come back say after 3-4 years your package would be way off from the industry standard and no one would able to rectify that. Only option is to leave the company. Also Wipro doesn't encourage you to settle at any location out of India so request for your Green card, PR, Citizenship etc. will not be entertained unless some law requires it. That's the worst part of it. E.g. In Singapore you get some benefits like lower school fees etc.. if you are PR but Wipro doesn't not approve it. Infosys, Cognizant etc on the other hand does allow their employees to go for PR....Read More

Work Details

I have started as a Software Engineer and left Wipro when I was Architect. I changed 3 clients during this time and had a good experience. Their ACE program for Architects is really good and the reason for me to stay longer.

Wipro as an organisation always keeps up the company's policies, ethical values and maintains its brand value whatever is the situvation. And keeps up the customer commitments. Excellent learning opportunities and Onsite opportunities.

Out of so many positive things, couldn't find anything that i did not like.
