Being pleasure to work in Vega. I am enjoying to work with global client Canadian based on several Projects, opportunities on learning the newer technologies that client adopts. Training skills by travelling abroad for ongoing/upcoming migration projects and change activities. Full supporting staff at client site, understanding in view of any issues or incidents. Good opportunities to learn on Networks and Servers related issues or upgrades by providing hands and eyes support. I more like that whenever leaves are required Vega always providing me on the said timeline and keep arranged for the backup. I also like the re-hire policy here....Read More

Dislikes

Sometimes work pressure is so high and many times need to visit at mid-night most of the times and has to work overnight. No doubt backup is arranged for the next day but many times need to visit late evening. Unsure if it is valued or noticed.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
