Asking payment for junior engineer/ OS & other new entry cadets for job placement in their ships.Ships also very old & aged these two or three small vessels are manned between off shore utilities & supply for mainland vessels such as bulk oil / cargoes etc..This is purely inland operation ( NCV Type vessel having Indian flag registration ( RPSL approved by DGS) Engines are very old type ( power also very low but maybe accepted for class Iv exams but not sure) All are second hand tonnage vessel . I worked as Junior engineer in these company vessel. Very worst compensations and very worst cultures .Following no safety at all....Read More

Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Please some some give best advice?
