Immense growth opportunities for people willing to toil and put in the work, so you define your bar. High ownership and trust driven work culture (depends on the manager tho..)

Dislikes

Slowly turning more bureaucratic by the day, very low tech reliance. Lot of broken processes but less fixers and more managers.

Ever since the company has grown, the work culture has continously deteriorated to an extent that it may become one of the organizations with a toxic work culture and nobody is looking at that. HRs are all just mute spectators.

Dislikes

Work life balance isn't the best, lot of politics since the new layer hiring in 2020, appraisals delayed by 6 months, no job security

Great learning experience initially, fast paced and short turnaround.

Dislikes

No work life balance. The organisation plays with careers and salaries for their personal gains. The founders aren't caring at all.

Work Details

Pathetic, long working hours. No schedule or personal life. 12-14 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Work timings: Strict Timings

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
