The Job is secure, however the work culture is quite awful since the most of the work and target is dumped on the employee who shows initiative. The HR policies are improving but but are still not employee friendly. The employees didn't receive a single penny during the COVID pandemic even though we worked during the entire lock down period.

There exists no structure for performing daily duties or achieving targets. The entire load is dumped on the Branch Head or on anyone the organisation acknowledges as talented. Employees who aren't willing to work are posted accordingly in less sensitive areas but they draw the same salary. Staff shortage is again a big issue. It is one of the youngest bank got nationalised in 1969.starting from 6th jan 1943 it has over 3000 branches all over the country having almost over 20000 staff it has rich history and always contributed to the indian economy as well as worldwide by having 4 overseas branches.

So many accountability,sudpention even termination.working in a bank toaday as an manager is a hazardeous duty.
