- Some orgs within Uber, esp the COEs have an empire building nature. Some of the leaders have been sitting on these roles for quite sometime now and have mostly started just resting and vesting. - This is kind of common in a lot of large orgs but a lot of mid to senior level managers are just there because they have maintained goodrelations with their higher ups. A lot of them don't even know their portfolios and are lost if you ask them anything about their processes.
