Old code base is not refactored, limited learning wrt new technologies. No importance is given to improving performance or doing it in a right way- as long as it works- no one wants to touch it. Some people are there for a long time, some of them are very best they can get but some are there that are just there cause they grew there. Such someone demands to be a manager and then even when they do not know basics of managing a team, the team is stuck and such a setup can cause a lot of trauma for the team under such person. Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?

They started wfh soo early, and they started preparing for it from January itself. This is something I would really like to appreciate. Compensation was also great this year a little bit less than other years but still good , all in all covid 19 didn't really affect the work or compensation except that we have to wfh and work life balance has become hard to manage now.
