I like the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable and high quality products and has a global client base as well. Being a members only club, you get to know the members tastes and likes in context to food and beverages.

Dislikes

There's no compensation. Growth is slow. Work pressure is quite intense. No break shifts, instead there are times when we have to do straight shifts. No value for suggestions given by the staff making us take back our words most times.

It is the worst and the unethical organization that exist. Owned by a egomaniac psychopath - Harish Thawani, all you get at this place if you make the mistake of joining is toxicity and harrasment. Thawani takes pride in public humiliation of his staff. With more than ample time on his hands, his passion is playing third class political games and pitting employees against each other by spweing ridiculous lies. The working space and conditions here is unhygienic and pathetic. The back office has seepage and there's water dripping into the office from the walls and ceiling. You cannot take even a single day of leave, not even if you are sick. Calendar holidays don't exist. Even Hitler seems like a mild gentle leader in front this toxic man. Rejection is something he just cannot handle. He makes it extremely difficult and impossible to work here. When an employee leaves which everyone does within barely a few days, then all hell breaks loose. He makes your life miserable. And if you make the mistake of serving notice period, be prepared to not get paid. He is a very smooth orator and is very capable of brainwashing with his sweet talk. The owner, Harish Thawani is a terrible boss. He’s rude, disrespectful, insulting and gives two hoots for the employees. He doesn’t let anyone work by his constant verbal jabs, humiliations and he gossips about all the members with their bedroom stories. He holds meetings which go on for 8 hours at a stretch and then will expects miracles. Toxic place to work in

Harish Thawani, Co-Founder of The Indus Club He enjoys humiliating and abusing his employees. He cannot stand the sight of a housekeeping guy who works to keep his club clean. Little man on the grounds of humanity. Lack of empathy. He'll double your job description, you sign up for FO and congratulations you are now a gatekeeper too. You'll be asked to shoo away if someone is standing outside the club premises in common area or near the common/public elevator. He says he has a memory of elephant but forgot how he should treat his employees especially females. He'll blame you for things that you were never responsible for. Big talks and no action. He uses his employees as pawns. Pathetic management and toxic work environment. No employee benefits and poor staffing, I have worked straight for 14 15 days without taking a leave with irregular working hours. They don't believe in finding a solution/fixing the problem, instead they love to create a scene out of it. Ideas, solutions and innovations are not welcome here!
