I have been with TechMahindra for ten years. Work culture & the kind of people I was exposed to in my projects were just awesome. I also got to experience Onsite for a while (The United Kingdom). Career growth can be slow depending on the project. Politics is everywhere. TechM is no exception. Its not very easy to get to know internal HR policies. If HR says this is the policy, well then, that must be the policy. They wont even point you to the appropriate policy page so you can educate yourself (my personal experience).

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team

Extremely good Team. Past years there has been stress on upskilling Hard to move across projects hence difficult learn many things because you can learn many things in the same technology in one project. Good Work Environment depends on the team members mainly. Appraisal is very stagnant its generally the same set of people who are promoted or given any benefits.

Dislikes

- Hikes are very minimal even a daily wage worker will get better if he works for a year. Also most of the times hikes are a rumour or are only on paper. - There is no value for people who have spent more time in the company. They are not treated as value ad's. I guess culturally there should be value bought in that space. - Compensation there is huge disparity across levels. It would be there because because those who come in are given hikes while those who have served the company long are not given hikes hence the disparity...Read More
