I've been working with this company since 2005 and as a Leader since 2008. I have had horrible experiences in recent past. The endless system & process changes are excruciating. Too many hierarchies with regards to agent commission. For instance, an MDRT Advisor is paid 35% commission in a saving plan and a normal advisor will be paid just 14% for that, which is completely unfair. My agents are facing commission payouts in renewals too. The rate declared is not paid as renewal commission. This has led us to lose out on good advisors, who have now diverted to other competition companies. There are also multiple EP changes throughout the year. Underwriting guidelines also keep on changing making us put in a lot of time during logins. We often face problems during policy logins and while policies are in underwriting, wherein the same pending have to be resolved multiple times....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
