My mentor was very supportive and there were a few seniors/colleagues that helped discover new avenues of my profession. And I did get to learn quite a bit from my fellow employees

The work life balance was non-existent. The management was unsupportive and the pay to labour ratio was terrible. Overall taj needs to work a lot on how they handle mismanagement, employee shortages and busy seasons. There is no work life balance, you work for 13-14hrs straight and they don’t even bother. They only claim everything about employees and about their betterment in files only or in paper but not in real life so it’s a scam.

I felt like I was in the Ganges, but I didn't know that there was so much less in housekeeping where they gave me the opportunity to mop the bathroom by hand, and the less I found it absolutely bad.

What I didn't like about Taj Fateh Prakash Palace was politics, Mr. Santhosh Burla (Front Office Manager) is a terrible guy. Didn't support me. He only supports his spoons. He will never support you if he sees that you are working very well in your work and the GM appreciates your work. Rest everyone in the hotel is hardworking and supportive, However, a few guys on the managing level didn't want you to grow. Be careful if you are joining here in front office department or prepare yourself to become his spoon....Read More
