The people - Unfortunately, I had encountered instances of bullying from senior colleagues. The senior employees definitely created a hostile environment for the new employees impacting my well-being and overall job satisfaction. My team consisted of manager and senior team members who were bullies - myself and other existing employe es who were not favored as they thought they are above all. They constantly harassed us by skewed remarks, embarrassed us in team meetings, made us look incompetent with confusing statements on the requirements. If toxic work culture would ever need an example - The bullies in my team would be considered as pioneers. Shell would be responsible for this as they don't have a process to deal with employee harassment. I was mentally harassed, and it took me 6 months to recover from what these people did to me. Please implement anti-bullying policies so no one ever have to go through what i had experienced. Conduct training programs if required. The toxic work culture definitely affects the brand. Overall great working culture (but quality is deteriorating on everyday by day. People became more outcome focused than earlier, thus result more work pressure).

Shell changing policy for their benefit. People when joined sign agreement that if leave company before 12 month shifting allowance for 2 lakh will recovered. But now company after 12 month send mail to everyone if they not shifting to chennai 2 lakh amount will recovered from next month salary. People of tamilnadu are hostile to ppl from other states. This problem still shell want ppl to relocate. Chennai city is very worst compare with also avg cities lf India other states. Electricity problem, water logging during monsoon,bad road,, bad hygiene, dirty streets. Shell company talk diversity inclusion only on paper. In real majority local tamilian people in office don't want talk with outer state ppl. Promotion is priority only for local ppl. Shell must open office in another state, not in south india. South indian ppl don't like , hate rest of india....Read More
