Good company for freshers from Top colleges. Very happening place, alot of DSA training and weekly 4 hour long single algo test until you pass with 100% accuracy and best efficiency. Alot of activities for innovation and IP creations.

Dislikes

Older employees salary is very less, even Indian companies are paying more. Alot of politics, management is always bussy in many things at same time they know that they are not going to achieve anything. HR is pathetic. Every year they target to reduce 10~15% head count by giving poor ratings in manual evaluations. But they never layoff group and team heads. 8:30 hour policy. Most of the things. Fully Office. Company holds your funds in some cases, you have raise approval first otherwise they approve the expense even if its for company activity. HR has say over little thing over ridding even managers. Work is average.

8:30hrs mandatory inside office. 30min you can go outside, if not then that will be deducted from your working hours. Stupid management decisions I have ever seen. No WFH policy If you are working with foreign team then your manager will have no direct visibility of your work. Rating is fixed for everyone, whether you do less or more work.

All bangalore / Indian team are all slav____ to HQ / Korean team. All leaders are from Korean team. No leaders allowed to control anything. Even if become director / VP, you don't have any control here. Koreans have kept Indians like slav---- Unnecessary work pressure. No software quality. Everything is hidden. It is hire and fire company. somehow they will do the buisness by giving offers. After sometime it will not work . Don't join samsung anywhere in India. Food is great. Worklife balance is great. No one will call after 5 pm. And expect you to work. Depends on some teams.

Worst company to work in if you want to develop your skills. There is redundant work and monotonous work every day. Also, the upper management is very weak. They understand that Koreans are God for them. Whatever they say will have to be done either way. They don’t have spine to stand up for themselves. Also talking about the managers. Most of the managers are womanisers and the rating is based on who the manager likes and what that person is able to give to that manager. I faced the same thing in my team. It is not based on what skill you have, or how much you have done for the team, how much work you you are showing.
