Rapido is an excellent place to grow as a professional. Being a flat startup like many others, you will get exposure to multiple business functions apart from your core one. It is up to you how much you want to engage with other teams and learn, but the scope is endless. The talent at the company is highly skilled and the overall culture is positive. Internal processes are relatively well structured, though emergencies call for hustle, which is normal for a company in this space. Rapido was one of the few companies in the mobility/hyperlocal space which did not do mass layoffs when the first lockdown happened. Company is well funded and has a bright future....Read More

Dislikes

The company has a lot of scope for growth if it moves beyond the core vertical of two-wheeler ridesharing. A well thought pivot can help the company easily grow 3x - 4x in a year. The necessary infrastructure and talent pool is already present. However, the company remains adamant on focusing only on its core category. This reduces the growth pace of the company, while also making the work repetitive for employees. After the first couple of years, employees may start feeling growth has stagnated since opportunities to do new things reduces. Growth strategy changes too frequently for any specific project to start showing conclusive results. The approach is reactive. As a result, many teams may spend time firefighting temporary issues instead of building features and processes with a long term vision. Now that the company is out of its early stage and has sufficient funding, it should start accepting temporary lapses in growth and be patient for projects that will lead to longer term growth....Read More

I recently joined a new company, and within 10 days, I received a more attractive offer from another company. Can I resign without serving the notice period? Would declining any salary and relieving letter (Experience Letter) it easier for the company to agree to my departure?
