The likes and dislikes may vary based on the project you are in within each stream in PwC. I work in payments transformation in Advisory , here the work like balance is good and the team is supportive, for me.
We may work with teams in other regions such as US and UK. Sometimes it is difficult to bridge the work culture gap and may feel like a struggle to do so. Initial compensation discussions are a bit frustrating since the hr wont budge to your negotiations. Hence the salary wont be what is expected when moving companies.

When I was hired they confirmed me that the work will match my previous job role and structure, later I found that I need to compete with the CA's on Financial Services and statements. As a B.tech and Masters in Business Analytics it was not a cup of tea for me. Still I tried to my best , one day I visited my Senior Manager and asked her to put me to some desired project I explained the situation I mentioned above , I was shocked to know the same person interviewed me and with a Question mark on serious note she was telling me Aren't you from the Financial Background? I was shocked and stunned. Phase 2- I suddenly had a serious medical urgency with my dad , with a critical Spine Surgery, I took the WFH permission from my Leads and HRBP on the same, still with each day I was humiliated . I was completing my work after coming back from hospital from 8.30pm at night till 4am in the morning , instead of any Thanks or Appreciated mail I was getting a call from my Manager and she was claiming myself a Shit in work culture, I was not claiming any extra amount for my work .
