Good consulting and client facing experience. Skill development opportunities are good. Work-life balance depends on your willpower and to some extent team management

Dislikes

Internal politics, your skills take a backseat during promotion and rating, which is demotivating.

Likes

Managers are super supportive. You get the freedom to work on your ideas and articulate them to the client directly.

Dislikes

Salary hike is not good. Promotions depends on office politics rather than your skillsets. Sometimes if there is no project with your team then the entire resource cluster stays unproductive for months. Switching to other team is next to impossible.

When I was hired they confirmed me that the work will match my previous job role and structure, later I found that I need to compete with the CA's on Financial Services and statements. As a B.tech and Masters in Business Analytics it was not a cup of tea for me. Still I tried to my best , one day I visited my Senior Manager and asked her to put me to some desired project I explained the situation I mentioned above , I was shocked to know the same person interviewed me and with a Question mark on serious note she was telling me Aren't you from the Financial Background? I was shocked and stunned. Phase 2- I suddenly had a serious medical urgency with my dad , with a critical Spine Surgery, I took the WFH permission from my Leads and HRBP on the same, still with each day I was humiliated . I was completing my work after coming back from hospital from 8.30pm at night till 4am in the morning , instead of any Thanks or Appreciated mail I was getting a call from my Manager and she was claiming myself a Shit in work culture, I was not claiming any extra amount for my work . Pro: 1. Excellent team culture, always appreciative and friendly environment 2. Flexible work hours. No strict timings. 3. Hybrid mode of work. 2-3 days in office / week.

Dislikes

Cons: 1. Poor appraisals and promotions 2. Too much approvals and MBA controlled, no freedom to explore as a technical person. 3. People have almost zero technical knowledge. Specially the mid level.

Not at all employee -friendly , will make you work even in your death bed. Will torture you even after resignation, 3 months of notice period will be a hell here. The people are good. Sometimes it could get toxic in sometimes, but overall helpful. I joienda s a fresher 3 years back, people have been helpful throughout. Decent pay.

Dislikes

If you're a fresher (this is in particular for engineering) and if you have other offers from other service based companies (provided the role ur working for will actually be a good one) I would suggest to go with them, and kee this only as last resort, as the learning curve here is very low, since freshers arent usually given the best projects, and this slows down the learning curve a lot.

I like the exposure that we get in handling clients and the diverse tools that we get to upskill ourselves due to the wide variety of clients.

Dislikes

The company policies are probably at the negative end for the employees. The HR team as usual will threaten you in case of questions and are probably the worst of all. They keep on changing and reducing the benefits provided to employees.

A great place to leverage the learning facilities the firm provides and a lot to learn with/without the team.

Dislikes

No work-life balance. No empathy towards the freshers by the senior rankers, and heck lot of favouritism. Foremost, no seriousness about the promises they make during induction "Empathy, Care, Respect, blah blah". It's nowhere like that.
