Your experience will be heavily dependent on your team and project manager. You might get flexibility and very poor work or good work and no flexibility. Working weekends, long hours is kind of a norm when you are in a project in advisory. Dont expect any appreciation if you focus on technical skills.

A great place to leverage the learning facilities the firm provides and a lot to learn with/without the team.

Dislikes

No work-life balance. No empathy towards the freshers by the senior rankers, and heck lot of favouritism. Foremost, no seriousness about the promises they make during induction "Empathy, Care, Respect, blah blah". It's nowhere like that.

Specialised task and free hand provided to complete the task and take ownership. Help in grooming audit and other skills.

Managers does not respect the Associate and Senior Associate time, We( Associate & Senior Associate)have to work according to their wish. We have to available from 9.30am to 12.00am mid night, Whenever they pings we have to respond within seconds, If we are not responding they will call through teams and if we don't pick the calls, they will tag our names and leave a message in Broader group and ask are we on leave ? If you get a supportive team then you may survive for long run otherwise its hard to survive there, just for sake of Experience & tag of big four you can join. But if your team is toxic then you may face stress & depression everyday w.r.t time sheets ,work allocation.
