Interned as a marketing intern for 4 months. Very bad management, very toxic work culture, dangerous work politics and even the CBO is confused which direction to move on. Where is the company heading can be explained from the fact that head of marketing department does not have any clue about what does the company do and can not even explain properly about the company products. He motivates his team to create fake trackers so that they can be presented to the CBO and fool him how busy his team is. In reality, the team does nothing excepting writing content that is never gonna be published on any platform and even they are aware of this fact. Marketing department is just full of jokers. They hire interns not because they have some work or something, rather, they just hire interns just to showcase senior management that they are short on resources and need an intern. You'll get no learning here as an intern, they'll ask you to write content that is not even relevant to your role. If you cross question about this thing to your manager or somebody you are reporting to, HR will put stick in your *** and give you warning that he'll fire you. This place is very toxic. I advice if you desperately need a job then only go for this org and be prepared to be fired for no reason. You might just be a resource that is hired just to show the founder how busy your team is that you badly needed some new member.
