I think it is best company to get settled when you are on your desired designation & satisfied earning. Very relaxing working culture. But economical growth is very poor. Not much to learn for experienced but get enough time to learn by your own. Good for fresher n less experience guys.

As it is non - IT company so scope for software development is limited.

Orange is good company only if you are permanent employee and experienced person. Freshers can learn something technical. If you joined as fresher or contract employee to this company learn as much as you can and change the company before 2 year.

Dislikes

For permanent employees no much growth. No recognition, Small Office. Most of the people work in client locations. Hire's more people on contract basis - off role. For contract employees very less salary, No salary hike, very difficult to become permanent employee.

Work life balance is very good. You will get in depth knowledge of robot framework. Also, they give you ample time to work on POC's which is great. Culture is very good and people are very friendly.

Work is less. Also you have lots of free time which makes you feel non productive.

Great work life balance being a French company Transport facility is good Worst management ever, only downside of this company is its management, managers have too much power leaving resources reporting to them at their mercy. If a manager chooses to misuse its power, no options for resource. Senior management takes no interest in employee monkey business and is too ambitious. Technical staff does not agrees with management decisions. Extremely good environment for learning however, among technical staff hierarchy is flat, agile is followed everywhere and one gets an exposure to all sorts of skills and can approach team members to learn from them. Team members are also supportive in helping others learn. Not a good company for Freshers, but middle experience level. Management is really bad and exploits resources misuses its power. Managers have all the power at hand and no peer review for managers performance available for reportees. The one they have is done only for formality and no action is taken. Appraisals are not at pace with industry standards. For recruitment the management maintains staff in a particular experience group only. They hire resources at 1.5-2 years of experience and little pay from a startup or similar org and as the experience of the resource increases, not much increment is offered to the resource forcing the resource to move out and seek industry acceptable remuneration for their services. Once the resource leaves they again hire a resource at 1.5-2 years if experience at half the pay of the earlier resource.
