Professionally, the company is excellent for freshers. Training program for new employees is very good. Rate at which the company is giving opportunities to newcomers/freshers is very good. Projects that we work on are challenging. On the non-professional side, there are programs every year for the employees like Annual party, Internal games, Training programs etc.

Dislikes

Company is not a generic software company. It's a software company FOCUSED on the Travel Industry. It has a limited set of predefined software products. Technically, the company may be expanding at a slower rate i.e. exposure to newer technologies may be on the slower side.

Work Details

Mostly, for almost the entire day, my work involves sitting at my desk & typing out software programs. There is very little movement away from my desk. My work doesn't involve any interaction with any clients or customers etc. Meetings are a rare thing.

Lets go by points: 1. The formal training provided is not enough to start working. The training is outdated and too less when it comes to working on floor. 2. The new joiners are expected to work on w=vast areas and if we do not have the training they expect us to walk around asking for help after which they say that the productivity is very less and there have been instances where if your productivity is less they have bullied consultants to resigning. 3.The job is technical. If you are not from that background you will struggle and eventually will end up quitting. 4. There is no growth. No matter how good your skills are you will not be promoted or given a salary hike. Your only salary hike will be when you get confirmed ie. after 6 months of probation(they always extend it without giving you reasons to do so) and that will be a max of 2k.
