The National Electric Power Authority, prior to the privatization of 2013, was responsible to Generation, Transmission and Distribution of electricity in Nigeria. I worked at one of the generation and transmission Stations - Delta Power Station Ughelli, Delta State Nigeria. The power station has a capacity to generate 920MW and a switch-yard where the power generated is transmitted into the National grid at 330KV. i worked here for a period of six months. While working here i met some of the most brilliant engineers whose impact in me still helping me till date. We share ideas on how best to keep the plants running and ensure that our customers are not disappointed. The team work here is wonderful and regular training of the workforce, by management is commendable. Work Details

My work here is to assist the maintenance team in the day to day maintenance works required for the operations of the plant. We were also involve in some in-house equipment installation. The work is very challenging and exciting. I love the work
