Hey, AB fam, PIP = Corporate death sentence. I was there too🥲—panicking, checking Naukri every 5 minutes, watching Bhagavad Gita reels at 2 AM. Priya Ma’am, my boss, had lost faith in me. Friends said, "Bro, PIP se promotion tak koi nahi jaata." But I refused to go down. My Survival Jugaad? Chai Pe Charcha – Timed my tea breaks with hers. "Ma’am, elaichi daalni chahiye thi." Next day? She agreed. Trst unlocked. In meetings, I nodded like a bobblehead. "Ma’am, truly visionary! Aap to corporate Rani Lakshmi Bai ho!" Smiles = Achieved.. Emotional Connect – She loved dogs. I updated my DP with one. "Ma’am, my dog wakes me up for meetings!" Bond = Secured.😉 The Final Jugaad – She looked stressed. "Ma’am, even Dhoni takes a break!" She smiled. Game over. Many, I'll list down few.. 1) No job security at all. Anytime you will get sacked.. 2) you need to pamper your bosses always. Else nothing will go right. Bosses have ultimate power of signing expenses, appraisal, relieving etc.. 3) worst hr team ever I seen in my career. Good for nothing HR. There are not for employees. Senior Managers and other higher authorities will not help to get your problem short out and having a high exit ratio of the employees they confirmed you early to keep you there and work there for 2 months more. A lot politics and enforcement of work hours after your working hours in return no overtime salary.
