The only thing good about this is you'll get to experience the rural life by communicating with the people living there, learn the societal structure and work for the vulnerable people. if that's one of your goals. But there's alos a catch, If you're lucky enough, you'll have good colleagues. If you're not lucky enough, the people you work with will be lazy and bend the rules (like the men sitting in the panchayat chair instead of a women who was elected...) you have to work your way through smartly... Let's be honest. Anyone who praises this young fellow project by Nirdpr/MoPR are either bootlickers or they have extremely low standards. They have meetings at 7 too(AM/PM). So bye bye work life balance. They didn't give us our salary for 2+ months and then asked us to borrow money from our friends. It's Feb 2025 now and we are yetto receive our salary from Nov 2024. It's contractual job. So no promotions. Zero skill development. The only thing you'll gain is a Brain Rot. If you're satisfied with the govt name tag... GG. Or else there's nothing to be satisfied of. Egocentric superiors, poor time management, improper planning, worst communication and no M&E...
