I've been with lumiq for six years, and it's been a journey of continuous learning. The work is both challenging and rewarding-gathering and structuring data keeps me engaged and always growing in my expertise. The company has given me the space to develop my skills, and overall, the work-life balance has been manageable.

Dislikes

One thing that could improve is the communication structure-it could be more streamlined to boost efficiency.

Wish there was a way to give negative ratings There's a list of Red Flags-: 1). Salaries are not credited on time, Oct salary was credited between 8-10 Nove, November salary was credited between 10-12 and December salary was first promised on 8th Jan but on 8th Jan they said 15th and till date few ppl have not received their salary. 2). Variable pay is not been given since last 2 quarters. 3). Travle/Food reiumbursements are delayed u need to do a lot of follow ups. 4). There is no flexibility, no WFH on top of it if you come 1 min late after 10.30 am a mail is triggred to ur manager and HR stating unaccounted. 5). Absolutely no process is followed ..all projects are in bad shape. 6).Founders only favour the people who are working with them since beginning, no rules apply for them. 7) PPl who are woking since beginning are rude to other they think they can do whatever they want with noone to question. Caution-: Please don't go by the 4 or 5 Star ratins as they are either given by thier favourite ppl or any of the new ppl.For example which employee will rate a company on a saturday 18th Jan 2025 ,only one who likes to stare at thier bosses instead of his wife....Read More

It is not a human-friendly place because neither the policies are employee-friendly nor the culture is healthy for a person to survive. One would move out either with a complete mental torture and mental health damage or much worse. Over the top, they are not even giving salary on time and then force employees to put 5 star rating on company online platform. The POSH policies, Mental health wellness are just things for the poster and paper because they never act on it. It’s better to do a half pay job elsewhere than work at this company. Your work life balance will depend on the manager and there only few good managers, others are very toxic and like to highly micromanage people.Changing projects is a great challenge and u can be stuck on the same projects for years. Sometimes salary can be late upto 15 days without any proper reason.

What I like about Lumiq is that the company focuses on new age tools, and we get to work on this same. This helps us to get the skills required to work in projects. My time is quite good and hoping to work for long years.

Almost everything. They torture mid level and junior level developers to work overtime with zero appraisal. Sales team make fake promises to clients and put the delivery managers in awkward situations time to time. All 5 ratings are fake. Mostly they are given by a bunch of people who have planned their retirement from Lumiq including useless HR team.

All good ratings being posted are forced from the employees. The salary day has shifted from 1 to 8 and now to 15. The blamegame continues, they have removed wfh policies. Leaves have been reduced. All they want is to churn out employees with no appreciation and respect and live in all the toxicity and then you would be a good employee to them.

Work hours can become intense due to delivery commitments, and sometimes we travel to client offices on very short notice. The global expansion and new processes add to the pressure, especially since I am vegetarian. Some large customers can be quite demanding, and we often need to repeat explanations to them and their higher-ups. Although remove fast, processes can slow us down. Being a Project manager at LUMIQ offers valuable exposure to the market and the chance to connect with stakeholders. I've also been involved in AI- based projects, and I appreciate that management supports growth with new processes to keep us aligned, even though data projects can be quite complicated.

Dislikes

Some projects come with unclear goals, both from customers and LUMIQ leadership, causing confusion. The customer's first mentality can clash with staying on budget and on schedule. Constantly chasing clients for sign-offs can be a real pain.

Long cycles are expected, but the coordination between solutions, architects, sales and finance has become more complex than it was a few years ago. Everyone demands thorough preparation, so you need to be ready for anything. Sales target pay-out are tied to revenue realisation, and the company expects salespeople to run the first meeting independently-this means a lot of preparation upfront.

My experience with Lumiq has been extremely disappointing. Salary payments are often delayed, and the company fails to provide the promised performance bonus. Their rigid attendance policy requires employees to be in the office before 10:30 AM; otherwise, they are marked absent. The level of micromanagement is excessive, making the work environment highly stressful. Work-from-home (WFH) opportunities are granted selectively, favoring only those who are close to management, while others who genuinely need it are denied.
