1. Hire and Fire culture, 2. Feedback and Appraisal system is a joke (managers do not provide timely feedback and they can ask you to leave without a solid reason, or a performance improvements plan if performance is a concern) 3. It's a highly partial organisation as you need to be part of that circle where some people continue tobe part of organisation despite bad performance, even if they are put on performance improvement plan, and yet after that they donot improve performance. But others who do not belong to that circle, can be asked to leave any day without any feedback or red flags or performance improvement plan. 3. Company funding is an issue, pay cut have happened and appraisal were delayed 4. HR department is highly ineffective. They donot seem to have prior HR experience as a result existing or leaving employees face lot of hardship in many ways beyond expectations. They are not building culture, not investing in skill development, or process improvement. One such example and there may be many, there is no unique and consistent program for first time managers, rather they ask you if you need any training go use annual $400 to learn skills. How many employees are using this fund? Too less. They donot understand that there has to be a unique course, that is enforced so that any new manager is compulsorily trained to handle people in the way it's best for organisation interest. They Donot have that mindset. 5. Company does not want to invest in process and structure. If you give any feedback to founder or HR, you would be fired the next day. It is not a people centric organization. 6. They lure people with goodies such as health, insurance, $400 to spend on learning. Dont fall for that, all organisation these days provide such goodies. 7. Head of Sales, and Head of Technology are the worst people to work with, highly autocratic, unskilled at people management, lack of experience, lack of empathy, always on the look for finding faults in others and firing them. Ask them what is you fire someone, how soon will you be able to fill the position back, and they wouldn't have thought about it. They just fire. They themselves are exempted if they fail N number of times, can underperform or allowed with delayed results. Because, they belong to that circle. Founder trust them the most and obsessed with them.
