While it is a big brand name, everything is in control of the partners. If you suck up to them and manage to be in their good books, you are settled, but if you want to rely only on your work, you are doomed. Partners are not at all approachable and have a lot of attitude issues. HR is also powerless when it comes to dealing with Partners. They want to follow industry standards when it comes to working from office etc. but do not follow the standards in compensation. They can not let you even eat if there is any Event going on in KPMG, they will seal the complete cafeteria Even if the cafeteria is not a part of event or even if there is a b'day party going on. Also there is no work life policy, you have to work Even on Saturday and Sunday

And some of the managers are really baised against a few people means they are good to those they like and they don't give a shit about others.

As any company, if you get a good manager you will more or less enjoy working here. But then again, getting a good manager is rare here and most of them don't have a life outside work and they expect the same from you, especially these bangalore senior managers.

Senior leadership has remained in the company for years, which has led to a rigid and hierarchical work culture. Many leaders seem more focused on appearances and office presence rather than fostering talent and innovation. Everything, They were very abusive. There offer no support to grow/work. They make you work for more than 16 hours a day but still expect us to put in even more efforts on the job. They make you work no matter if you are travelling in train, bus, and air travel. Downright hell hole of place to work anywhere in India for KPMG. It's off on weekends only for namesake, they make you work everyday and expect you to be available 24x7 and wants you to travel and work from any place they would want you to without a care for your family. Job Security. Generally, they don't fire people unless they have done something illegal/against company policy. But it kind of encourages laggards. Training and skill development opportunities are plentiful, in fact many of them are mandatory. This is a great place for people with less than 10 yrs of experience.

Crazy bureaucracy. There are regulatory requirements due to it being an audit firm which occupies 50-60% of a manager's time to manage which takes out energy to deliver a project. Second problem is that same person is supposed to 1. Do Sales and win a project 2. Deliver it 3. Manage all risks This is highly inefficient Salary levels are also at least 20% below market
