1)There is no work life balance. 2)There is no Log off time we need to start the day before the login times and there is no log off time for the company. 3) there are so much politics they can remove you from the company at any time with nonsense reason 4) they will never promote you as per your quality then never see good on you but always see bad in you

Apart from normal work they keep on pushing you to take up extra projects irrespective of your work Doesn't matter how skilled you are, the only thing matters here is how much you do activities Not a good place for someone who wants to learn and grow

Very poor management system. Forced to work in projects. No proper appraisal, compensation, benefits. Tooo much politics. Company growth matters to them not the concerns of individuals. I had a terrible experience but there are people whom I have seen who are having plan to get retirement from kpmg only.

KPMG Global Services offers a very collaborative work environment and has great leaders especially in the Consulting domain and not marketing.

Dislikes

The Performance Manager in the CH (Capability Hubs) team at KGS looks at women inappropriately. He along with another team member made inappropriate comments on me during one on one and even in front of everyone. I was under stress as I had never anticipated this kind of behavior within such an esteemed org. One word for this team -toxic. The team members knew that he skips office and left early and so the rest of them also started doing this and dodge client's request without any sense of urgency. If they see someone working and doing good, they constantly undermine them. I will never recommend this team for one sole reason - Your mental peace and sense of self. The leadership kept changing till the time I was there which clearly means there is not a good leader that this team has gotten. What I used to like in KPMG. Now they all became myth. If you compared to EY . It is still better company to work. Good thing is my manager.

No goodies, no appraisal, no promotion. In the name of cost cutting concept they have became toxic. In the name of feedback they will do character assassination.

It is good place to be. Everything is systematic there and has a satisfying work. Work environment is professional and very less individual centric politics.

The personal compliances and personal trainings are too much and you spend more time doing those and doing your actual work.

Technical Learning is good but at the cost of 11-12 Hours daily work schedule. New Hires are good. Expect to be involved in multiple projects from the initial days itself. Flexible office timings are good.

Dislikes

Cab services are costly even if you travel only 1 Day per week. Yearly Appraisals/Promotions are terrible. Avoid working under people who are sitting since last 8-10 Years already. Few skills like AI are in demand others are not entertained well. In short this is somewhat better version of TCS/Infosys nothing much

It is a highly biased firm, if you are not in good books of senior management people, then no matter how good you perform it won't matter. Your growth rate is not proportional to your effort & skills if you don't know how to be in good books of some people

My experience with KPMG has been disappointing due to several major concerns. 1. Poor Management: The firm’s leadership lacks transparency and strategic direction, resulting inconsistent politics and unclear communication. 2. Lack of job security: Employment stability is minimal, with decisions about staff retention appearing arbitrary and lacking clear justification or proper process. 3. Authorization Decision-Making: The organization operates under a top-drawn approach, where decision made by single individual must be followed without question, leaving no room for discussion or employee input. 4. Unfair termination process: there is no proper protocol while removing employees. feedback is either lacking or completely ignored, and terminations often occur without warning. and the HR policies are very poor. At least HRs just go by the words of the higher management. 5. Salary manipulation post-termination. After termination, the firm manipulates salary settlements without any transparency leaving employees confused about their final payouts. 6. Nothing, it feels like high school nowadays.

Secretly company is falling down. No perks. Even the sick leaves are restricted. Should apply planned leaves before a month. No unplanned leaves allowed because sick leaves are being questioned. Concept of work life balance is just to mention in offer letter. Honest suggestion would be to prefer some other startups than KPMG.
