"As an employee at Kotak Life Insurance, I've encountered several challenges that have affected my satisfaction with the company. The workload is often overwhelming, with unrealistic targets and expectations set by management. There's a lack of adequate support and training, making it difficult to perform tasks efficiently. Additionally, communication within the team and with higher management can be unclear and inconsistent, leading to misunderstandings and delays in decision-making. Company gives me 2.5% hike in appraisal after achieving a 70% of YTD Target.... Appraisal and salary hike processes at Kotak Life Insurance are deeply disappointing. Despite dedicated efforts and meeting performance targets, the appraisal system feels arbitrary and lacks transparency. Promises of career growth and salary increments are often unfulfilled, leaving employees demotivated and undervalued. There’s a noticeable disparity between the workload expectations and the compensation provided, which doesn’t align with industry standards. This undermines morale and loyalty among employees, impacting overall productivity and retention. While my feedback depends on my personal experience. The reality might definitely vary from team to team and process to process. As of my experience, please do not come to this company. It's Mumbai - Goregaon branch is 4 km distant from the railway station and it's a time consuming travel. Other than this, the working experience is like living hell. No fixed timings, you will start your shift at 10.30 am and leave home at 10 pm. The process are dull manual. You will die working on your files but still the file wont be up to date. Because while you were working on your file, 100 more things have happened. But they expect a real time updated file. Don't come here....Read More

Salary not up to the mark. not paid as per industry standard. additional branches, additional works given without proper hike in salary. Branches have poor depressing culture, no celebration, revenue generating teams at branches are recognized, not the backend teams irrespective of their contribution to the success. Overall branches are not happy place to work.

Hopless monopoly company with no hikes notice period with approval on reporting managers ,Employee has to wait For FF no growth concall tortures no hastle free process,Deviations at the it's like 80's type stereotype bunch of b**@*running the company with friendly benifits Toxic Managers make work you in May 1 labour day while they enjoy their holiday

In my point of view, I dislike the most about company that the company is not aggressive for employee salary & benefits same is for Promotion/appraisal. the company needs to improve these things. . . because the ground level employee is a key to success for organization and for all . . .

This is the worst company I have ever worked for

I dislike everything about this company, even after resignation they didn't approve it and after 2 months of my resignation they called me, after several email I have to do for my relieving and said now they will process my relieving and my fnf will come after 45 days from now. Pathetic behaviour of HRVP.

Their shall be CRM for advisors in which details of inactive advisors must be mapped to each new RDM , instead of focusing for procuring business from own house we must focus on catchment and vicinity via advertising and promotions . Authority shall be on DM’s to make sure everyone gets active,not by pressuring them .
