Great platform for learning as the organization is always short on manpower so technically employee land up doing everything off the responsibilities additionally. Depends on each one's perspective.

In all, there is no employee welfare as listed below. There is no response from HR for grievances. Employee appraisal are dragged to year ends after periodic review in order to retain the employees The company is in the outskirts and there is limited transport from the company, even during medical emergency company request employee to take routine cabs. The company has a discriminatory policy, men don't get cab service to stay back, and men employee is expected to wait for 2 to 3 hrs for the regular shift transport. During stay backs, no door drop for women and men at night, and cabs dropped at a fixed location inside the city leaving employees at risk. The canteen is very much unhygienic and the food is not edible causing a lot of health issues. Company policy changes at the convenience of the management on daily basis. No employees are allowed to eat non veg food in the canteen including eggs, this information was conveyed during HR induction As a practice tea is provided to lower people in the hierarchy and coffee for the higher positions(HODS). On the weekend work schedule, a mere thing like a cup of tea needs to be requested through the mail from management. Human resources are very inefficient, no information is passed on to employees, and it needs to be enquired about by employees. Most of the plans are made in a heist and last minute with poor-quality of work output. The employee is more treated like laborers in a factory than the services provided. Lab ergonomics are worst with broken chairs with all sorts of safety hazards. Employees are expected to clean cupboards and all which is usually office boy's work. Kemwell does have good HR policies which are employee friendly. But work satisfaction is very low as they expect to do some random work which actually does not have any relation with your skills.

Canteen is pathetic, salary is also very low. Moreover the people working are very low IQ people.

*No work life balance. Extending after working hours is common. *One must be available 24*7 , if you are denying then the same will be reflected in your appraisal. *There is no job security, even if the person is working properly. *The hiring process is very slow, the existing members have to extend and come on weekend to complete the task. *Internal politics is very much common especially at the higher levels. *The document approvals are manual including the standard procedures, one must go to different departments for signatures and most of the time people will not be available. *The lab set up doesn't have proper ergonomics. Production Department is full of politics, Some guys are staying in the same company for more than 5-6 years because of which they have created one group and torturing junior,if you don’t believe just check the record in last 5 years how many junior employees has resigned and how many seniors resigned
