Potential of the core idea of this startup is huge. With correct and executive and product leadership it might hit anytime. Might not be possible with current people at these positions.

Dislikes

- You would be pressurized to work on weekend & holidays through many different reasons. Saturday is a working day here(not on papers). - No recognition of work. You would always be forced to think you are not doing anything even though you might be investing 12 hours per day. - No structure or organization - Variable pay is not given in 90% cases. Negotiate this to 0. Keep salary as fixed. I received 0. - Vey bad product team. Absolute tough for developers. - Company revenue is falling due to bad product plans - CEO not fit for the role. - Do not by any mistake take WFH. I observed that probability of you getting fired is very high if you are WFH. - Recently offers were revoked for certain candidates over silly reasons with no compensation. No ethics especially in people at top....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
