Even if you give best the company and project, they will squeeze and throw you out. 3 months notice period but they wont be able to find your replacement till your last week. Mostly legacy people are working here and decisions happens based on their moods or how you keep them happy. You don’t have to be technically or managerial strong, just sugar coats your words and keep them happy. Good people are leaving the company due to this kind of unprofessional behaviour and unhealthy environment.

Work Life balance in Oracle Business Unit of Mastek is "Very Bad". Very Very Stressful. It's highly NOT recommended for senior employees ( 10 or more year of experience), Freshers and unmarried may handle but a big NO for someone with family responsibilities.

I've been in Mastek for more than 2 years. What I like the most is everyday there is something new to learn and seniors and team members are very helpful.

Dislikes

The promotion and appraisal are not so good. There is also lack in the appreciation of the work you do. They can see your efforts but I believe every employee needs just more than words😊.

Hr doesn't support you , directors level have no power , they always try to find error from employees side and deduct salaries without even giving information or warning to new joinee very pathetic policy and procedure they follow. You will get some great avenues to learn new things. Good for experience of 2 years. This is a good company for the people who have more that 7 years for work experience.

If you are joining this company then forget about work life balance. Be ready for the onsite travel if you are a senior consultant and if you are associated with a project in AMEA region. But the onsite travel doesn't necessarily means that it would be a great experience. If you are joining the company appraisals might be a big problem as appraisals are always late.
