I was given an golden opportunity to move into sales from the position of a Guest Relations executive. ITC recognises a sincere hardworking individual with an interest to learn and perform. There might be issues with the work environment amongst colleagues and the way up will be difficult but when you get there and get recognised there will be no stopping. Itc is a people centric company. They take care of you and lend support. I was on medical leave and my company has never harassed me to join. Management is good and the work environment is very safe. U will make friends with people from diff department and eventually some bonds made are like family so much so even if u leave u maintain a life long connection. They provide pick wnd drop. Very safe organisation for women. Appraisal could be slightly better. But if recognised management will promote you internally either to a diff dept or for their management progm. The ITC Grand Chola is an exceptional place, and the staff there are truly wonderful. The managers and everyone are incredibly supportive. I am very grateful to Bela Ma’am, Himanshu Sir, and many others who have helped us immensely. I like learning about new skills to deal with guests, about ITC , about handling guests, about physical fitness, about baggage handling, about front office check in check outs, about room decorations and preparations of rooms for special occasions, about residence lounge handlings in ITC ROYAL BENGAL, about event hostings, about welcoming celebrities and special guests and above all hospitality.

Dislikes

I didn't get any guidance on my work, neither did I get a mentor nor someone to show us the right path to not just work but maintain consistency with work. My fellow colleagues were also very rude which resulted in my poor networking and a dearth of motivation to work. Lack of positive attitude is also very common.

There is nothing to like about this hotel.

After five so much of effort & getting multiples nice feedback from guests & delegation this hotel & management haven’t show small gesture towards his employees that they can provide small appreciation letter. Haven’t got single salary benefit & hike is my 06 years at ITC Maurya, New Delhi. Lots of political activity going on inside hotel.

They promise 6 monthly offs but got ves 3 or 4 no one bother about it they just say all the time do your budget do make money but don't hire staff less staff but expected from them they will work for 24*7 😀😀 lot's of things to say but that's enough might someone read this from ITC hotels corporate office and take action on that....Read More

Management, they didn't even provide clean washrooms for their staff so nothing likable everything is in bad situation people say itc is big company but they give salaries 4, 5 and 7th on every month if someone don't believe I'll share my account statement.

Worst working culture. I have worked in ITC Sonar and Royal Bengal for 12 months as an Finance Associate. Not at all employee friendly. Managers are toxic as hell and continue ego clash happens between managers of one department with managers of other department. They Will hire you on a Fixed Term Contract basis with selling a fake dream of making you permanent after 1 year but doesn't happens. No proper hike, no proper promotion if any employee stays in Contractual basis. No fix timing of work, need to stretch if required....Read More
