Intelligent Life is a great place for remote work with full time job and a decent salary. My job provides a good work life balance and I am able to spend more time with my family than before.

Lot of training materials and documents to go through during training period.
It's a work from home so you can make your livelihood while working from home.

I have been in this company for 2 years and finally I decided to call it quits when my ideas, my hard work, my role was not appreciated. One line - Do not join here if you like companies who takes care of its employees. He'll talk big and do nothing about it. You go to him with your problems and challenges, you'll not be provided with anything but - Go and do your work, do not come toe with your problems. The only types of employees this company has are the ones who are not doing well physically. Hence, they do not have many options, and that's what this guy takes advantage of. There's no job security, the moment you decide to oppose your boss, you'll be shown the door to exit. During two years, I have seen many sich cases where employees were treated harshly, inhumanly. He's located in USA and employees are at his mercy. I kept quiet till I worked here. Many people who were shown the exit doors didn't even receive their FNF. You'll not get any PF benefits, all you get is your salary and that too with deductions.
DO NOT JOIN HERE I REPEAT - DO MOT JOIN HERE!...Read More

You'll get so much to learn that will help you in your next job. CEO is a oldie who doesn't listen to anyone, simply arrogant. Even speaking to him about your problems will do no good. He has his mind set-up for one thing and one thing only - keep working

Employer’s Response
Message from the CEO: This post from this anonymous poster is completely false. All employees at the company are appreciated and rewarded regularly with bonuses for going great work. You dont have to take my word for it, just arrange to talk to any current employee who is actually working. This person actually begged to come back to the company after they quit without notice once; which goes to prove that they actually liked working here. We gave this guy a second chance and rehired him. As they say I guess, no good deed goes unpunished. The person is hostile because they have been taking advantage of the company doing the bare minimum and taking leaves 1 out of every 5 days of work. All employees that work hard get paid very well and get bonuses. Even during the pandemic when other companies were doing poorly, cutting salaries, and laying people off; we were hiring and paying bonuses. The fact that I as the CEO am arrogant and that my mind is set on things is a flat-out lie. You are welcome to speak to any current employee to find out that reality is quite the opposite. I love innovation, constructive criticism, and embrace positive change. You dont have to take my word for it, just arrange to speak to any current employees. We do bonuses and profit sharing. This ungrateful guy who posted the review even made over $1000 some months. Unfortunately, this guy is just disgruntled because he has been one of the lowest performers on the team and has been held accountable for it. At one point in the past, this person was even offered the position of supervisor as a promotion but declined it. Later on he just slacked off. He is just upset because his income is now commensurate with his performance and he can't take advantage of the company like he did in the past. You can ask all employees who work here if I take advantage of anyone or if i dont listen to feedback. Before you make a decision based on a negative review from a total stranger, do a call with me online and feel free to ask me tough questions and feel free to talk to real current employees who will tell you about the work. Unfortunately, the way the internet works is that people who are unhappy can just post any bogus information they want to and its convenient for people who are unhappy with their lives to take it out on others with vindictive behaviors like this posting above. Regarding benefits the company offers paid leaves, paid holidays, and unpaid leaves; we pay very well and even do profit sharing. Benefits all equate to dollars and you will find when you add it all up you will come out way ahead financially with our company. If you are motivated, hard-working, dedicated and motivated you can do incredibly well. As far as the 'keep working' comment... I and everyone needs to work to earn an income so everyone does need to work. At the same time, I do treat employees with respect, listen to their concerns, and do what I can to help if anyone does have any problem or concern. All employees who do a great job are appreciated and those that come to management with ideas and help the company succeed are both heard and rewarded. This person didn't bother complaining to me about whatever he was unhappy about, but instead decided to take the low road and post something negative online to teach me a lesson since he's disgruntled even though his own work ethic (lack of) and poor work behaviors are the reason he is unhappy. I do want all employees to be as happy as possible and always want to treat everyone fairly; but its impossible to please everyone. In the end all this person had to do is tell me: Here's what I would like to achieve and have at the company, how can I achieve this? Then I could let him know what he would need to do to achieve his goals to make it a win-win. Companies worldwide reward and promote those who are talented, motivated and go the extra mile. We are no exception. Some people like this guy did not want to put in the effort and do the right things; nor did he share his expectations with management. If his expectations were not workable for the company because he could not bring to the table a win win proposition then there is no harm in that. He could just resign like an adult after an adult conversation with management on what is and isn't possible. Instead, he didn't do any of this and just decided to post this negative review.

I liked the idea of working from home but that did not work out so well in my favour.

You directly report to the CEO as the company only has 7 employees. Boss likes to take advantage in the name of policy and may not credit your salary if he thinks you have not worked. Job security is poor. Incentives are only a myth that you never will receive. First, 15 days salary will be held as CEO does not trust his employees. His style of managing people is like: Managing daily wage labour. In the beginning, you will like everything but right after you complete your first month, you will start to realise that this company can not give you anything if you are looking for a work-life balance/work from home/career growth, DO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY. You will not get any leaves. Even if your father dies, you will have to report on duty, or else your salary will be put on hold for the next 15 days. You will be expected to do everything for the company but you should not be expecting anything in return. CEO can fire you anytime he wants and whether you will receive your salary or not that completely depends on his mood. There will be penalties if you miss out on any of your work but you will not get paid even if you work over time....Read More

Employer’s Response
Message from the CEO:
It is unfortunate but 'Anonymous' individuals can post any kind of dishonest information they feel like posting to defame a company if they feel they have been slighted.
In this case the following information is completely false, and I'm happy to not only talk to you directly via any online meeting system if you would like about it; but also put you in touch with employees so you can determine the truth from team members that actually work here.
1) The company only has 7 employees. I don't know where this person even got this information from, but it is misguided and false. At that time we had 7 people in Customer Service. We however also have many other departments such as Purchasing, Marketing, Merchandising, Quality Control, and HR. We actually at that time had 18 employees. This year we are hiring regularly since we are fast grown and successful and staff will be around 25 by year-end.
2) Nobody gets taken advantage of and in fact, employees that do a great job earn more than their base salary and more than they expect to make on a monthly basis. We have clear time recording so it is known if someone worked or not and if someone worked they get paid for their work. To state the obvious, if what this person is saying was really true, how could the company even have employees as nobody would work. The reality is that people who do work and do a good job get regular bonuses and even profit sharing as well so compensation is better than most other companies.
2) It's interesting that the person said he liked everything the first month. Yet somehow things magically changed after 1 month. I actually know who this person is and the reality is this person wanted career advancement but was not a proactive motivated person. I and the company are happy to promote and give more opportunities to those who are great and earn the opportunity. If someone is simply smart but does the bare minimum to skate by, that person isn't entitled to an instant promotion. Had this person been proactive and motivated; there would have been a promotion opportunity for him. At all companies these things must be earned.
3) You will not get any leaves. Another totally false statement. We have paid holidays, paid vacation time, and unpaid leaves. What happened with this person is that when we needed him most he took 15 days off; leaving the burden on all the other team members.
4) You don't get paid overtime. The company positions are all professional positions, not manual labor positions. I don't know of any company... Apple, Google, Amazon etc that pay overtime to office professionals. What we do instead; which this guy selectively decided not to mention is that we have performance bonuses and profit sharing so when people do work hard and go the extra mile they do in fact make more than they expect to make and do get rewarded. If any company paid overtime to professional employees; then suddenly everyone would be logging overtime even if they could do their job in half of their standard workday. We and all the companies we are aware of pay for performance and results. So if you are a high performer, you can make more than you would at virtually any other company. You don't have to take my word for it; you can even talk to current employees to verify this.
5) Receiving salary depends on the mood. Another total falsehood. We have clear policies and everyone gets their salary. To again state the obvious, we would not have employees if we didn't pay them or didn't compensate well.
The reality is this person basically absconded from the company for at least two weeks with no advanced notice or approval when we were already short-staffed. No company can accept this kind of thing.
6) Even if your father dies you have to report to work. Again, this is untrue. Leaves are given and approved. We have paid and unpaid time off. However during our busy season when we needed this person the most they took a full two weeks off which was too much for the company to bear.
7) The work is boring. The person was just not a motivated person and didn't even say a single word to anyone about feeling bored. The company has a multitude of goals and projects to work on to challenge and keep employees engaged. It should be obvious to you as the reader that the person was lazy and unmotivated because a motivated person who felt unchallenged in some way or found the job boring would have done the professional thing and spoken to his manager about it to find out what could be done to solve this challenge. No manager at any company is a mind reader that can know if someone feels bored or not; and thus cannot find solutions. All this person had to do was express his concerns to management like a professional and ask what could be done to solve the problem. I don't think any current employee would tell you the job is boring as there are tons of things to do every day. Work is work and its not paying a video game; but there are unlimited intellectual and business challenges for those willing and able to take them on... and be rewarded accordingly for their success. Plus, if this person found his job boring and couldn't muster the motivation to even discuss his concerns like an adult with his manager; he could have elected to quit. Of course he didn't quit because he did in fact liked that he was actually doing well financially even though he doesn't admit this in his post above.
The reality is that the company is very successful, fast-growing, and has lots of highly motivated employees who do well financially and do receive challenges. I encourage you to arrange a meeting with me and feel free to arrange meetings with current employees if you have any doubts so you can make an informed intelligent decision. I think it would be foolhardy to take what this anoymous poster represented as facts since you have no idea who this person is, can't verify anything they say is fact, and it is clear they are just disgruntled because they were let go from the company due to their lack of motivation and for taking two weeks off with no advanced notice when the company was already short on sales staff.
