Poor project management team as most of work distribution is taken care by client himself with no control from Infosys team. No promotions even after over 7 yrs. Annual increments are very low.

I was recently selected for the Senior Associate Consultant role at Infosys, and I had high expectations for the opportunity. However, my experience has been very disappointing. After receiving the offer, I was asked to resign from my previous position as soon as possible, which I did. But just one or two days before my scheduled joining, Infosys suddenly halted my onboarding without providing any valid reason. My advice to those considering joining Infosys is: do not resign from your current job until all your documents are approved and verified. Infosys can unexpectedly withdraw their offer and provide unexpected reasons or excuses for rejection, leaving you in a difficult and uncertain position. The higher-level people, such as the project manager and team lead, lack knowledge and are in their positions only because of their comfort zone. Suppose a candidate has knowledge about a particular technology but lacks hands-on experience because their previous company did not involve that technology. During the client and screening interview, the way these interviewers speak is ridiculous. They say things like, "You do not have knowledge and all," and expect candidates to know everything and have practical experience from their previous organization. Infosys, please work on this. Not every person has real-time experience in the technology you require in the project and just because of that you reject the candidate for projet allocation,suppose candidate reject the project then you expect valid reason please provide vice versa equality in project rejection with valid reason....Read More

They hire a 2 year experienced person and give them above 16LPA and their own employees with 5 years experience get only 5-7LPA on same designation. No hikes, no support, nothing being done for employee wellness, most of the projects works on weekends as well. People are having extra maritl affairs at the office. Zero for work culture, zero to team leads and managers.

Take every failures as a learning and success as a part of your professional journey towards your growth. Some managers are quite good , they will reach out to you personally if you require any help.
The work is always there but so does the bench period. Sometimes you will have to settle for the less as it's a lottery based system for assignment of projects for freshers and you will have to be patient in terms of growth. People starting from absolute zero, it will take decades to reach a substantial level of financial security but there is no easy ladder to reach any required level.

I didn't like everything about Infosys, because of very rude management and no help from HR's and you won't get projects based on your core skills. You need to do any kind of work .. like developer also need to do manual testing work and other works. After some days they will assign the same kind of work to you, and slowly you will forget your core skills.
