The only thing which I did not like about hsbc was, salary hike is not discussed during appraisal time, and once you get the number there is no scope for discussion.

The flow of information from top to bottom level is clear and crisp.. periodic discussion with you line manager and their manager give to fair chance to get known to what's coming as well as to be listened.

Sometime few people do behave in a way that doesn't sound they are willing to help but that's totally an personal preference of that person, although you can reach to managers for same but it's not something everyone would do or want to do.

It's good that we follow timings to login and logoff and there is no one who really wants you to extend... As we are in DevOps, yeah had couple of days when you have to extend a bit but that's only if something very urgent comes up in production support.

Everything is good in this organisation except the internal hikes and career progress. Work life balance and culture is good but Monetory wise it's not suggested for people who want to progress normally in their career.
