The way of doing things is a bit lax and there is a general sense of dissatisfaction with the higher leadership. There is a lot of politics in how the ratings and review system works. The admin side of HSBC is very slow and leaves you frustrated at times

As a company HSBC is top notch. It's the best you can work for however the people in the management are not helpful at all , favoritism.low promotion rate. Very low hike and bonuses.

Some managers and avps are terrible. If they don't like you they will make sure that they make you leave.

All the aspects … most importantly being a mnc bank they dont follow RBI compliance and protocols. Its a risky bank to join in with respect to the career perspective
