Only job security is a pro in HCLTech, unless you are someone with 15-20 years of experience at some management level.
Hardly any projects, only support projects are there. Skill development is poor. Pathetic salary hikes. Appraisal cycle will be postponed without any reason.

For learning and experience this is good company.
Negligible appraisal. No promotions . There is no standard of giving salary. Junior employee in same team with lower band could have higher salary than senior with upper band. They do not give any goodies on Diwali/new year. They do not give any money on referrals. Just the extra miles points.

In HCL salary breakup is a biggest scam. Because if you are joining company with 15 LPA, your take home will be around 95K. Remaining 30k is not assured to return to you. So please dont join HCL if your family is fully depends only on your salary.

Now company has started working on new technologies and trying to make a product out of it, I am part of that team. So work satisfaction is there, along with no mandatory WFO ( it mostly depends on your project and manager).

List is huge There is no proper timeline for increment letters Every year they change the effective date of the increment Manager only listens if there is client escalation Management are super busy they dont ping back on your chats Management does not have the clear answer on any thing. No bus facility, not good work culture, no work-life balance, worst senior management, very bad appraisal mechanism and which is not implemented or followed by management effectively, salary hikes are very less sometimes a big NO for it, No transparency in any process, policies are there just in documents nothing is favoured to employees and will be considered by HR team only when they need.
